There was definitely a reduction in the comments (at least in my presence). I knew hounding them was not going to work but once I explained myself very clearly from that point on a solid look was more telling than any words I could say. They already knew my thoughts and when they didn't or said "What?" I just said "You know that kind of talk bothers me.".
