I’ve been doing that forever. Keeps the coffee warm a bit longer!! Better send hubby out for the heavy cream. Snow coming tonight and this will warm us up nicely. I simply add a little Bailey’s too hot coffee and a dollop of whipped cream. Wrecked it by putting sugar in the coffee. You would get enough sugar from the bourbon anyway.

Not everyone faces the same problem that you talk about.
